Digital Project Manager

Position: Full Time
Location: Poole, UK (on-site)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

So, what are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Digital Project Manager to oversee and help us streamline our studio’s operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

You will act as the central hub for scheduling, workflow management, and resource planning, working closely with the Client Services, Design and Digital teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of our projects.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability, collaboration, and time management are key.

The Role

  • Project Management: Plan and oversee multiple projects, budgets, and timelines from conception through delivery and beyond.
  • Requirements Gathering: Ensuring that detailed project requirements are captured and effectively communicated through documentation, such as User Requirements Documents and technical specifications.
  • Workflow Coordination: Schedule and manage the studio workflow, in collaboration with the Client Services team, to provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Team Planning: Organise and track team members’ schedules, effectively allocating their time across days, weeks, and future planning horizons.
  • Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status and achievements to the Client Services team, staying ahead of potential issues.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify potential delays or challenges early, implementing proactive solutions to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships, using excellent communication skills to connect with stakeholders and clarify project requirements.
  • Client Interaction: Attend key client meetings to gain a deep understanding of project requirements, scopes and objectives.
  • Flexibility: Adapt schedules as needed to accommodate urgent client demands in coordination with the Client Services team.

Essentials

  • Strong understanding of digital projects, and content production including motion, animation, web design, and web development
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role, ideally within an agency or creative studio
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively across all levels
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, best practices and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experienced with delivering both creative and digital projects, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies depending on the need
  • A team player through and through, with a positive can-do attitude
