Thanks to our continued growth here at Beep! (think super-geek mothership), we’re going places and on the lookout for a User Experience Manager to join our hard-working team.

We need someone who thinks about the bigger picture. As a branding tech agency, our role is to change customers’ perceptions, acquire new customers and retain existing customers by creating unforgettable experiences, campaigns and content. Ultimately, we support clients in achieving and exceeding their goals. That said, if you’re like us, you’ll sometimes get distracted by gadgets, consoles and time-wasting collectables! That's just who we are.

For this role, we’re looking for that thinker. A motivator to push our UX creativity to new heights. You’ll join a team of superheroes, each with their own strengths and powers. Feeding off their talent and our clients’ challenges, you will slot right in and level up our UX offering.

The Role

  • Own our UX offering and mentor a growing team of like-minded super brains
  • Get under the skin of our clients’ requirements and understand their customers
  • Conduct relevant research that compliments a client’s vision
  • Identify a target audience and with aligned objectives for success
  • Push forward ‘big ideas’ through initiative and calculated creative thinking
  • Design and facilitate client workshops and deliver insightful reports
  • Lead projects that deliver transformational outcomes for our clients
  • Collaborate with the design team to bring your vision to reality
  • Assist and manage customer support requests from users
  • Create personas and user stories to clearly define a rich and rewarding UX
  • Explore our clients’ objectives and spot new business opportunities to add value
  • QA our experiences to fix, meet or even exceed expectations
  • Push the agency’s UX and product offering in new and exciting directions
  • Communicate and engage with client-side project managers
  • Embrace our ‘work hard, play hard’ culture

The Essentials

  • Previous experience as a UX designer, architect or manager, ideally within an agency environment
  • Experience creating personas, user journeys and customer stories
  • Able to confidently lead a team and update the wider team
  • Have in-depth knowledge of UX and the value it adds to a project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • A mix of creative, analytical and technical know-how, while still being able to cut through the jargon and keep it human
  • Excited about driving innovation across multiple platforms and technologies
  • Able to thrive in a fast-moving agency environment
  • A team player through and through

  • Awareness of Sketch, Figma, Whimsical
  • Google Workspace, Monday, Office 365
  • Slack, Zoom and other internal communication tools
