Senior Digital Designer

Position: Full Time
Location: Poole, UK (on-site)
Salary: £38,000-£42,000 + benefits

The Role

  • Craft and articulate the creative vision and delivery of our digital projects. Be inspired and embrace technology to design and create memorable experiences
  • Produce a full suite of digital concepts, including: creating dynamic designs for web applications, websites, landing pages as well as online newsletters, advertising and social
  • Be comfortable presenting ideas and concepts to clients and peers. Lead meetings to explain your creative thinking and listen to feedback directly to understand and meet client expectations
  • Wireframe creation that considers the user experience and content requirements for website projects alongside the production of user flow diagrams/customer journey maps, while contributing to UX thinking
  • Develop design systems that support the desired user experience across multiple digital channels
  • Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI design trend and industry best practices to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our digital offering
  • Collaborate as part of a team to produce high quality work and follow internal work practices to help improve processes and procedures

The Essentials

  • 5+ years’ agency experience conceptualising, designing and delivering projects across all aspects of digital design and branding
  • Good awareness and understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite, Figma and other relevant design tools
  • Experience with responsive design and familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts to key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • A positive can do attitude with a flair for thinking differently, able to thrive in a fast-moving agency environment
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members

  • Competent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Google Workspace, Jira
  • Slack, Zoom and other internal communication tools
