Senior Laravel Developer

Position: Full Time
Location: Poole, UK or Remote, UK
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

So, what are we looking for?

As a Senior Laravel Developer at Beep, you’ll use Laravel primarily to build bespoke technical solutions for our clients, from high-performance web applications to rich, interactive websites. You’ll use excellent backend expertise, combined with a solid understanding of frontend development to build complex and innovative platforms on time and with minimal errors.

In addition you will be overseeing our platform sprint teams, leading the development process, ensuring adherence to sprint goals and timelines, and coordinating the efforts of the teams. This will include providing technical guidance, collaborating with client side product owners, defining acceptance criteria, resolving issues, and maintaining a high standard of code quality.

As a core part of the technical team you’ll work closely with our UX/UI department, using your creative technical skills and the latest development technologies to deliver high-quality builds that exceed our clients’ expectations every time.

Essentials

  • Lead the development of robust and scalable technical solutions for our global clients using the Laravel framework.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams including designers and product managers to understand the project requirements and contribute to the projects success. Suggest innovative ideas and solutions to problems. 
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing and adherence to best practices. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying a technically creative mindset to our technical offering. 
  • Mentor and guide our team of in house and platform developers, fostering a collaborative and curious environment.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and actively participate in client meetings as needed.
